Raphael’s connection to China goes far beyond business trips. He lived and worked there for eight years, first as a resident engineer for a Swiss company, then as a project manager in sales at one of our current partners.

This time had a lasting impact. He developed a deep understanding of the culture, working style, and interpersonal dynamics – all of which he now applies purposefully at DMB. For him, China is more than a market – it’s his second home.

Together with our SRM team in Asia, Raphael acts as an extended interface between DMB and our production partners during his regular visits to China. He contributes not only technical expertise but also cultural sensitivity and that makes the difference.
