On November 11th, DMB Technics AG proudly celebrates its 20th anniversary. The company was founded in 2005 by two engineers and an accountant. The engineers brought deep expertise in display technologies, while the accountant contributed sharp financial knowledge. Together, they formed a powerful team with a shared vision—and DMB Technics was born. What began as a trio of specialists has grown into a successful medium-sized company with around 35 employees. One of the founding engineers, Dieter Heimgartner, is still actively involved in the daily business and remains as Chairman of the Board. He played a key role in the development of STN technology and is co-owner of the globally significant STN patent.

DMB Technics AG from Hünenberg, Switzerland, is preparing for the future: After 20 successful years as CEO and CMO, Dieter Heimgartner and Christa Barmettler are handing over their executive positions to the new management team. As of April 1, 2025, Joël Heimgartner will take over as CEO. Together with Philipp Achermann as CSO, Janine Flückiger as CFO, and Raphael Maurer as CTO, the new management team will lead DMB Technics AG into its next phase of growth. All management members have been long-standing employees of DMB Technics, ensuring a smooth internal succession. Both Dieter Heimgartner and Christa Barmettler will remain with the company as President and Board Member, ensuring continuity and stability.

Three days full of exciting conversations, new contacts and groundbreaking technologies – the Embedded World 2025 in Nuremberg was a great success! DMB Technics presented cutting-edge display technologies and innovative HMI-Solutions that attracted numerous industry visitors. From ultra-high-resolution Micro-LED displays to flexible AMOLED technology and interactive transparent displays, the stand offered a comprehensive insight into the future of the display industry.
